LOREN RODWIN

Director of Finance

 

Loren is a seasoned finance professional with over four decades of experience in international finance. For 25 years, he led teams that underwrote and restructured debt investments at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), which is the U.S. Government’s development finance institution. While at DFC he worked in the areas of financial services, global health, food security, support for smallholder farmers, clean energy, access to safe and reliable water, sanitation and hygiene, housing, and more. 

Loren learned first-hand about daily money management when assisting his uncle, who was declining and unable to manage many aspects of his life.

Loren is married to Everyday Money Management founder Leah Nichaman and has had a front row seat watching the company grow over 20 years. He is now putting his finance skills to work to support the continued success of the company in offering high-quality daily money management services to its clients. 

Loren holds a BA in History from Brown University, an MA in International Affairs/Japan Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and an MBA from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.  He lives in Rockville with his wife Leah, has two adult daughters in the area, and one feline daughter who is still under his roof.
