GEORGE PETRIDES

Daily Money Manager

George brings a wealth of experience around strategic planning, financial operations, and entrepreneurship from over 25 years as a small business consultant and franchising professional. His previous experience ranges from owning and operating six retail stores in various states, operating as the CEO and board member of a national franchisor for over 11 years and serving for over 10 years on the industry’s trade board.

George has also contributed many hours of volunteer service both through his children’s schools and his church. He is an Elder at Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church, a former president of the Church Board of Trustees and was a member of the Church Strategic Planning Committee. He was also a past PTA president for Bradley Hills Elementary School in Bethesda and advocate of the Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church pre-school. George has also logged over 300 hours as a volunteer bird walk leader where he met people from all walks of life. It’s through his work and volunteer service that George became interested in the efforts of Everyday Money Management and its mission to help those, especially older individuals and their families who care for them, that need a guiding hand in organizational and financial areas. He draws great satisfaction in helping others plan, organize, and simplify for peace of mind.

George grew up in Bethesda, Maryland where he still lives with his wife, Victoria. He graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.  They have a younger daughter still at home, one at his alma mater (Go Blue!) and one grown and off on her own.
