Leah Nichaman, PDMM (Professional Daily Money Manager)
Founder and President
Leah founded Everyday Money Management in 2006 to serve people with disabilities, senior citizens, and those dealing with a life change such as a serious medical condition, divorce or loss of a spouse. Her work at the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) taught her that financial organization is a challenge for many people, particularly those with mental illness, intellectual disabilities and dementia. She is one of those organized people who loves to bring order to anything, especially paperwork and believes that financial organization plays a key role in keeping her clients independent and secure.
Leah is the President of the American Association of Daily Money Managers. She enjoys volunteering as a Representative Payee for two low income clients through EveryMind (formerly the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County).
Leah graduated from Brown University in 1985 with a degree in Cognitive Science. She has lived in several cities in the US and overseas, including Jerusalem, Israel and Tokyo, Japan. She lives in Rockville, Maryland with her husband, Loren, and their two daughters.
I am passionate about helping people manage their money and their paperwork. When the financial piece is in order, all other pieces of a person’s life can fall into place.
